18-135mm combined with XE2

I currently have an XE2 with the 18-55mm and 10-24mm lenses. I'm going travelling soon and have just spotted that (in the UK) there's £150 cash back on the Fuji 18-135mm and I'm quite tempted to get it to give me more versatility on holiday. However, I'm a bit worried that it might be a big on the large side when paired with the XE2 - anybody got that set up and how do you find it as a carry around all day unit?

Thanks Maurice - interesting comparison. I'm not convinced yet - I wanted to have a system that was smaller and lighter than my full frame Nikon and that might be creeping back up in size too much again. I think I need to get to a shop to try it out in the hand.

Hover over the image to see the weight, it's 1650g for the Nikon vs 840g for the Fuji, total! That is less than the 28-300 weighs alone.

 

Plus the optical performance is much better. Fullframe sensors really aren't made for such extreme zooms.
