Lens correction profile issues.
Camera body Fuji X-T4

Lenses are AF Nikkor ED 180mm f2.8 D and the DX AF-S Nikkor 18-70mm f3.5-5.6.

I'm trying out these two favourite Nikkor lenses on my Fiji X-T4 using a K&F Concept Nik (G) to FX adaptor.
This is the manual adaptor - no electronic contact with the Fuji body hence no EXIF date is read by the Fuji camera body. Big bummer!

I need this valuable information in my camera for the corrections to take place in Capture One or Photoshop. I can see colour fringing on the 180 and it ain't pretty.

Is there some way you know of to have my EXIF data transferred into an editing program from these lenses?

If it just does not work, I had better sell the adaptor as I feel lens connections are a real necessity in post.

And on that subject, got any recommendations for a good Nikkor to FX electronic adaptor to buy.

Thx for now.

Do you know the information that would need to be transferred? Is it the same for every image? If so you could run Exiftool in batch mode and apply the lens info to each image. It would be a good idea to set the manual lens settings on the X-T4 so that you can identify which lens had been used.

If you only need to know which lens you used then you can enter the description of the lens in the mount adapter settings menu. Just remember to choose in the menu the correct lens before you start shooting.

The description of the lens as you have entered it in the settings will appear in the exif.

I have my Olympus OM Zuiko lenses like that in the settings and it works very well.
