Custom Simulation names in Q menu

On the X-T3 if you had a custom name for a specific film simulation (such as 'Chrome: Eggleston') it would appear in the Q menu. I can't remember if this was given to us in a firmware update.

I'm now trying to make the same appear on the X-T4, but at the moment it just says SELECT CUSTOM SETTING.

If anyone knows the secret, please let me know :)

I to am having the same problem as your-self its a feature that really miss

:A few days in and I am puzzled about one feature that seems lacking.
I think either the X-T2 or X-T3 had a firmware update so the the Q menu would show the names of the Film Simulations you'd set up. It was a great feature, made them easier to remember.
But I can't remember if anything special was needed to turn this on.
But if there isn't then the X-T4 has regressed to showing the SELECT CUSTOM SETTING message, which is unhelpful.
If anyone remembers or knows the secret incantation, please let me know:

This is clearly a flaw. In my new X-100V the system works perfectly, like in my X-T3. I hope Fujifilm will issue a firmware update soon to correct it.

If you have a look at page 116/117 of the pdf manual you will probably as i have see that it is deliberate and not a  flaw

I’m not sure I get any sense of intent just a description of how it works.

On the basis that the X-T3, the X-Pro3, the X-100V (and probably others) have it whether by design or by upgrade it seems like an omission. Otherwise what’s the point of naming them?

XT4 While the name eg 'Custom 1' can be changed, the 3 character abbreviation remains eg 'S' or 'STD' does not change. 

Any answers or is the same issue as in the Q button menu.
