  1. 1. Acros requires the new sensor and processor, so Pro2 right now. 4. You have to change it from press to switch in the menus.
  2. Consider it release priority only, even with back button.
  3. Can't you set the SS dial to T and use the rear dial. Of course there is no quick toggle for switching.
  4. I wonder if there is more to the fix than just a replacement piece. Something to stop it from happening in the future.
  5. I recall someone else saying that switching from LCD to viewfinder takes longer on the x100T than in other Fuji bodies so I understand that can be frustrating. I would also add that SLRs with a regular OVF display menus on the LCD because their OVFs aren't capable of displaying the menus. It's not a fair comparison. People have been asking for menus in the LCD only for a while now so it may just not be coming as a feature.
  6. You can display different icons on each, have you turned that icon on in the OVF?
  7. Don't delete the thread. Add your answer so others can learn.
  8. Well I don't need to be part of the XT2's design team to say with some certainty that it will have the new sensor, processor, AF joystick, and an improved EVF. But I listed why I think the next X100 will have the features I mentioned, feel free to refute those reasons.
  9. Fuji said Acros also requires the new higher-res sensor because of the size of the grain. I never speculated on the release date, only the hardware upgrades. So tell me why each thing I listed will not be in the next X100, whenever it is released.
  10. It is logical that Fuji will use the new sensor so lets examine my "speculation": New sensor and processor - Fuji would be insane to keep the old 16MP sensor when the new sensor is available. Joystick AF control - The new sensor has too many AF points to use button presses to move the AF box. Heck, it might even get the X70's touchscreen. EVFs keep improving like the one in the X100T is better than the one in the X100S Acros - All that needs is the new sensor so it will be in the next X100 New sensor and processor mean faster AF. Tilt screen and new lens are speculation, but the existing lens is getting a little old and is a little soft wide open.
  11. There was an underexpose raw workaround to get camera JPGs from Xtrans 2 cameras. Luckily the Xtrans3 has no waxy issues, even above 6400.
  12. It doesn't matter how close his hand was. If it were closer than the minimum he should have seen the red box not the green box he saw.
  13. I'm talking about plain Jane Leica M cameras, of which the X100 was an obvious as you said homage.
  14. Do you want left-side OVF/EVF or a larger, center EVF?
  15. I have a hard time believing this wouldn't be the case. If 200dpi, for example, is the required resolution for a printer, then a higher-res file means the print can be larger.
  16. Fuji could have made the X-T1 look like a modern curvy DSLR, but they chose to look vintage; its a fake style that I and many others find appealing. They could have even made a modern body with marked dials. Heck, prior to the X100, curvy bodies is what Fuji was making. Its a direction that has been very successful for them, but there is nothing authentic about the retro styling and film simulations Fuji uses, but its funny the things we object to. Your diploma analogy is not relevant because Glitch is not pretending to have earned those scratches. I don't care if someone distress their camera, I only care if they pretend the distressing is real.
  17. And that Agfa is not styled like an old Leica or Fuji rangefinder. Almost every Fuji body is a simulation of an older style, so regardless if that appeals to you they are faking a retro look. The Pro 1 was a very close copy of the X-Pan, even down to the style of the grip, which is fine with my because that was a beautiful camera. As opposed to say the Sony A6300 or Canon M3 which are modern designs while being rectangular bodies.
  18. The next X100 will have the new sensor and processor, joystick AF control, improved EVF, Acros film simulation faster AF, and possibly a tilt screen and new lens; however, it may be more expensive. Do you want those improvements? Are the improvements worth several hundred dollars more to you? The exact difference is hard to say because if the XT2 is more expensive than the X-T1 then the next X100 will likely be more expensive than the X100T.
  19. Even Provia is a film simulation meant to mimic a film. Any post processing is faking a look.
  20. And the X70 is a fake rangefinder camera; its styled like one but doesn't even have a viewfinder. Where do you draw the line? It bears mentioning that he never pretended that it wasn't fake distressing.
  21. I only care if the person is pretending that mud and those example of distressing were earned. He is not doing that.
