I enjoy taking headshot as a memory when I travel. For this purpose I travel light with the FUJI 60mm attached to my XE-1 as secondary camera for portraits. Here are some headshots I took in Cambodia and Thailand. I'm a backpacker that enjoys taking photographs, I'll be more than happy to hear your comments in order to improve. 
 

 

 

 

 

 

Came across this today....the Nikon Coolpix P900 with a built in 83x digital zoom lens. Some of you may have seen this, but it's the first for me and I was...floored.

Hi everyone,
I just bought a new X-E2 a few days ago for a great price and I have to say that I am very impressed with it so far!
I have been really interested in photography since 1999 but I have now finally got around to getting an enthusiasts camera (yay!).
Here is what I like about it so far:
 
FANTASTIC IMAGE QUALITY.
BEAUTIFUL COLOUR RENDITION.
MANUAL CONTROLS that make the camera ENGAGING TO USE (which also helps to learn the art of photography).
The CAMERA LOOKS GREAT and FEELS LIKE A QUALITY PRODUCT.
HIGH QUALITY KIT LENS (18-55).
It is SMALL IN COMPARISON TO A DSLR.

When people ask why I love my XT1 so much, my answer is always "I enjoy using it." As a hobbyist photographer, getting a perfect image isn't the most important thing to me. I want a camera that I enjoy using so much that every time I leave the apartment I think to myself: "I want to bring my camera with me." The XT1 fits that bill perfectly. Love the quick access/lack of menus that the dials provide, and it's relatively small size, which all-in-all make me use the camera.

I moved to Fuji for:
1. Manual controls
2. Great lenses
3. Colours
4. Company ethos - i like fuji's philosophy with firmware updates etc

Indeed! There is a rumored update to the X-E2 firmware coming in October/November of this year. I hope the autofocus gets a little boost. It's a great camera, and I use it as my personal camera and backup camera on professional jobs.

Why do I like using Fuji?
 
They do exactly what it says on most cameras tins - except at a much better price and in a form factor that not only looks good and feels good, but actually makes sense.
 
OH, did I mention that they also seem to listen to their user base?
 
Still haven't seen Canon or Nikon take that leaf out of the book!

I'm right there with you on the X-E2. Although I came by way of already having several DSLRs, and to be honest, photography was getting boring for me and manual mode was NOT as fun to use as it was when I picked up the Fuji. I primarily shoot my professional work with my XT1, but the X-E2 has a special place in my heart that I can't explain. Love that camera!
