If you only had 3-4 fuji lenses what would they be?

My current setup is: X-E2s 14mm 2.8 and Nikon 100mm 2.8 X100T and TCL -
So you can't use your X100T without an upgrade? It will sit in a box like your X100S because it didn't get an upgrade? If you can't "capture the moment" because of missing upgrades, I have a feeling it might not be the cameras fault. Thousands of X100T and X100S users seem to do just fine. What "upgrades" are you actually missing?

Never had a problem with the X100T in up to -30 Celsius here in Canada. In really cold temperatures (-8 is not cold!) the hands "die" before the camera. I had a problem in the jungle of Guatemala, though. During +37 and nearly 100% humidity the little cover for the OVF that is required to engage the EVF didn't work anymore (OVF wasn't a problem). After a while the problem fixed itself and I never had a problem ever since.

Problem with my X Pro2.
delmundo replied to vicmay's topic in Fuji X-Pro 1 / Fuji X-Pro 2 / Fuji X-Pro 3
Teething problems is right. That's why I never buy a camera when it first comes out. I'm not the one who pays full price and does the Beta-testing for the manufacturer. And that applies to all manufacturers, not just Fuji. -

Travelling Combo X-T1 and Two Lenses (But Which Ones??)
delmundo replied to bhamx2's topic in Fuji X Lenses
On my last trip to Guatemala I had a XT-1 with 16mm 1.4, a 60mm 2.4 and a X100T. I didn't miss anything. 98% of the photos were shot with the 24mm 1.4 and the X100T. Mind you I'm not a tele shooter. Great setup, very light and compact. -
One of the main reasons for me liking the X100 series so much is the 35mm equiv. lens. Now the (grain of salt) rumor is out that the X200 will have a 28mm lens. For me this rumor gets more believable as Fuji has hinted to introduce a compact 35mm f2 lens for its interchangeable cameras. It looks to me as Fuji wants to try to make a Leica Q competitor with the X200 and there is nothing wrong with that. In practical shooting conditions 28mm and 35 isn't that far apart and I enjoy using the WCL on occasion, but personally I find the 35mm suits me more. Currently I'm not sure if I would buy a X200 with a 28mm lens as I think I would find myself cropping to 35mm often and the 24MP advantage of the new camera would be gone. It also looks like that Fuji (with the X70) is going the route of digitally cropping and up-scaling the image in jpg mode only if you want to shoot "another focal length", which I find not particularly useful. I think in order to consider a X200 with a 28mm lens, the following should happen: 1. There should be a "real" crop mode a la Leica Q with the option of RAW+JPG or 2. An optional compact TCL which brings the focal length up to 35mm and makes use of the 24mp of the new sensor. What about you? Would you purchase a X200 with a 28mm lens? PS: I'm still hoping the 28mm rumor is false.

Warwick +1! Don't do it. A few years back I replaced the X100 with the X-Pro 1. Biggest mistake I ever made. There is no comparison in handling the two. The X100 is smaller, the viewfinder is specially geared towards the focal length and the overall package of the X100 is better geared towards casual shooting, especially in crowded spaces. After three weeks I bought another X100 and I finally sold the X-Pro1 for the XT-1. Of course all of this could change if Fuji introduces the rumored 23mm f2.
