Welcome to the wonderful world of Fujifilm. At the moment it's just the dial that controls ISO. At first I found it a little uncomfortable to use however after a few months of use I now really like it and now don't have to take the camera away from my eye to change ISO. It's probably not as quick as a button push followed by few clicks of another button but it's not far off.

Pro1 viewfinder vs Pro2 viewfinder
vicmay replied to anywhereian's topic in Fuji X-Pro 1 / Fuji X-Pro 2 / Fuji X-Pro 3
I've owned the X Pro1, now own two X Pro2s. The X Pro2 viewfinder is a vast improvement. The refresh rate and the way information is displayed is much better. The camera is more responsive and the autofocus is in a completely different league. Last week I used the X Pro2 professionally at a motorsport event, cars coming towards me at 100mph+ in misty conditions, not a single missed shot. The X Pro2 is in a completely different league in every area. If you liked the handling and form factor of the X Pro1 but didn't like the EVF then I think you'll love the X Pro2. -

I've tried both of my X Pro2s' with the Fujifilm remote app and can't get either of them to work correctly. I've downloaded the app on my iPad 4 and iPhone 5c and get the same issue on both devices. The camera connects as it should do and allows me to take one picture. The phone/iPad then displays 'Processing' and locks up. The app will allow the transfer of images already on the camera SD cards and will allow video to be recorded but will take no more than one still image. I've tried all combinations of JPEG size and memory card slots, both slots set to JPEG and have removed a reinstalled the app on both devices but no joy. The app works perfectly with my X30. Any ideas on what else I can try?

This may be a reloaded video however here's the link to a short review on the Fujifilm 23mm f/2.

If it's anything like the X Pro2 the C setting allows for exposure compensation up to 5 stops and/or control of exposure compensation via a command dial.

No problem, looks like it's no longer for sale now. I'd love to know how the seller got his hands on it.

The normal/boost setting on the grip looks interesting, could this be a high performance mode?

Just seen this on Ebay UK. Very interesting. Ebay item number 231927700646. Looking at the payment terms, I wouldn't buy it!

Yep, I'd like to zoom with a press of the joystick too. -

Problem with my X Pro2.
vicmay replied to vicmay's topic in Fuji X-Pro 1 / Fuji X-Pro 2 / Fuji X-Pro 3
I emailed Fujifilm UK last week about this issue, yesterday I received this reply from them: Thank you for contacting FUJIFILM UK. We are sorry to hear you are experiencing a problem and can confirm, there is no known issue in regards to what you are describing. We would suggest returning the camera to the retailer for an exchange, and we will pass your feedback to FUJIFILM Japan. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. -
I've been using the camera for a few days and on three occasions the camera has self reset to the factory settings. All of my custom function button setting have been lost, 'my menu' settings have gone. Not at all impressed by this. I'm going to return it to the retailer at the weekend. Anyone else have this problem?

X-Pro 2 FW 1.0 Problems / Quirks
vicmay replied to K-Art Photography's topic in Fuji X-Pro 1 / Fuji X-Pro 2 / Fuji X-Pro 3
I have the same issue with my X Pro2. I've owned the camera for a few days and on three occasions the camera has self reset to the factory settings. All of 'my menu' settings also disappear along with all of the custom Q menu settings. I'm going to return it to the retailer this weekend. -
Quick format SD card
vicmay replied to Thrudragoneyz's topic in Fuji X-Pro 1 / Fuji X-Pro 2 / Fuji X-Pro 3
Try this, hold down the delete button for a couple of seconds then whilst holding it down push in the centre of the command dial. At first I could not get it to work as with my previous camera you pushed two buttons down at the same time rather than holding down one first followed by another.
