  1. I attended yesterday the launch event in Munich. It's a fantastic camera with a Leica price tag... The handling is superb, especially focussing. But: It's focus by wire I had to ask but this was achnoledged by Stefan Daniel, head of product marketing. Image results exhibited were impressive... Andreas
  2. Hi, I just installed a new feature: News Feed! It shows in the dedicated page and in the start page widget everything happening just in that moment. How do you like it? Suggestions how to improve? Andreas
  3. Hmm, strange. I just tried it out on my iPad and everything worked. Can you send me the image? Andreas
  4. Good suggestion, I should have mentioned this... Sure: Go to the Flickr image Click the share symbol (the arrow) Choose BBCode and the size you need Copy the code provided The code should be something like: [url=https://flic.kr/p/ebywZs][img=https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8388/8652150780_e30bdbf44f_c.jpg][/url][url=https://flic.kr/p/ebywZs]DSCF5382[/url] by [url=https://www.flickr.com/photos/10977575@N00/]NZyan[/url], auf Flickr The result: DSCF5382 by NZyan, auf Flickr HTH Andreas
  5. The limit per post was 500 kB, I increased it to 1000 kB. Did you try to upload only one image or was it more than one? Andreas
  6. Here is the tutorial: http://www.fuji-x-forum.com/topic/338-how-to-start-a-thread-and-how-to-post-images/ Feedback appreciated! Andreas
  7. Here is a short tutorial how to start a thread in the Fuji X Forum - including how to post images. If you still have problems or you have suggestions how to improve the tutorial, please let me know! Comment below or send me a message. Step #1: Find the right forum Let’s take the Newbies Forum as an example Step #2: Create Topic Click here please „Start New Topic“: Step #3: Enter Content Each thread needs a title (red) and content (green). If you want to include images, you have to click „Upload file“ (pink) below the text. If you need no images continue with step #6. Tags (blue) are helpful to recommend other threads with similar topics. Step #4: Choose one or more Images for Upload Step #5: Add Image to Post If you don’t take this step, your image will be appended at the end of your post. This is how to add your image at the right position: Step # 6: Publish Thread When you are done, click „Publish Thread“ Done! This is how this contribution would look like - here is it live: Question? Suggestions for improvement? Comment here or send me a message! Andreas
  8. You are so funny @aj_nova is my second account (I'm allowed to...) to test everything from a normal member's point of view. I used this topic to make some screenshots how to start a topic and how to post images. Give me a few minutes to complete it... Andreas
  9. Patrick posted this open letter to Fujifilm about two month ago. Still valid - and definitely worth to be still discussed. What's your opinion? Regarding the X100S firmware, I'd prefer that Fujifilm releases... a SMALL & FREE FW-update with Classic Chrome (and 1 more new feature, e.g. electronic shutter OR intervalometer) a BIG & PAID FW-update with many New Features like Classic Chrome, Intervalometer, Electronic Shutter, Customizable Q-Menu, PDAF support in Instant-AF, Spot Metering AF frame coupling, etc...
  10. Works apparently for me. Did you copy the BBCode from your Flickr image? Should look like [url=https://flic.kr/p/nhHVyo][img=https://c4.staticflickr.com/8/7257/13972735826_495fcd40bb_c.jpg][/url][url=https://flic.kr/p/nhHVyo]l1050481-f5.6-iso400-t1-25033[/url] by [url=https://www.flickr.com/photos/10977575@N00/]NZyan[/url], auf Flickr

  12. We made good experience in other communities with this procedure: - Default is „One Thread for One Image (or series)“ - open to discuss the image - If you want to start an open thread you add a keyword like - uhm - „Open Thread“. In German it's JEKAMI - Jeder Kann Mitmachen (Everyone's invited to participate) OK? Andreas
  13. I asked you not to abuse this forum for self promotion: If you don not want to abide by the rules - good bye. Andreas
  14. Sorry but I had to start moderating in this thread. Two things: 1. Do not insult other members and try to talk in a civilized manner. 2. If you are insulted please do not fire back but report the post (link below every post) Bonus track: If you quote another post, please try to shorten it to the part you want to answer. Full quotes is a pain in the a... to read for other members. Andreas
  15. Just increased to 1000 Likes per day and member. Should be enough If it doesn't work for you, please try to log out and in again. Andreas
  16. Thanks Olli for starting this! Just made it sticky... My name is Andreas and I live in Bonn, Germany with my small family. I have a degree as Photo Engineer (in Gerrrrman: Diplom-Fotoingenieur), my main job now is to run discussion boards about photo gear. The International Leica Forum was the start in 2000 (OMG I'm feeling so old...), over the time I added the German Systemkamera Forum (Mirrorless Cameras), German Fuji X Forum and the International Sony Alpha Forum. If you have any questions about the forum, please ask - per PN or in another thread. As my job here is to keep everything on topic Who's next? Andreas
  17. You see how improvements start to kick in? Competition is a great motivator! Andreas
  18. I'll attend today a Fuji press event - this will be one of my questions... Andreas
  19. We are living in a free world - so: Why not? In my experience competition is a good thing. I'm already running several forums - both German and International Sometimes I'm the gorilla in the cage (right term in English), sometimes I'm the runner-up - but always with strong competitors. Some of them I like and cooperate with them in various fields, some - uhm - not. All of them help me to stay alert and to improve the service. Difficult to make up good comparisons - but I don't want to live in a world Microsoft only (or Linux or Mac). OK? Andreas
