  1. I don't there is an answer for this question that works for all. Either are good multi-purpose lenses and aren't miles apart. You could look for a good, used example and give it a try. Or buy both used and resell the one you don't like as well.

  2. Did someone try to use the new Fuji X-app live view while shooting tethered in Capture One? I shoot a lot of interiors, and it would be really useful for me to find a solution to make it possible for the stylist to style the shot with an Ipad using live view instead of doing back and forth to the computer, especially when I am set far from the subject. Please let me know if someone found a way, Best,

  3. Post your Macro-Closeup Photography ! Describe your camera settings. Fuji X-E3, 70-300mm(300mm),/F6.4, ISO-320, 1/180sec. Molting of insects ! Enjoy……

  4. I owned the 16f1.4 in the absence of a decent 18mm (e.g. 28mm equivalent). As soon as the 18f1.4 came out I traded the 16 in for it. Unless you are desperate for the 24mm equiv fov I can highly recommend the 18f1.4 - quite possibly the best lens in the XF mount line up and one of the lenses on the support list for the X-T5/X-H2? On the other hand, how often do you care about the corners of a photograph? If you print or display the work, no one will ever notice that a lens is only 99% good enough. LouisB

    Lenses with “soul”

Voigtlander Nokton 23 1.2 has some remarkable rendering. It really shines with the Acros sim.

  6. Not proper macro shots, but I took these on my X-T4 with the 16-80 kit lens and macro extension tube.
