  1. Seriously? This shot is with an X-T5, 70-300 AND the 1.4 TC.
  2. I agree, it's a great little chuck of glass. Love the 40 perspective for many genres, all of which I just call 'Photography' (I have a things against the 'street' moniker)
  3. No issues, not one. I wouldn't call it flawless since the menu system is overkill (Canon rules in that dept) and it's a bit too easy to accidentally hit buttons (so I map them accordingly) Maybe they just didn't like the ergonomics, we are all built differently. Mine's with me until it dies. Great tool.
  4. Clarity did it for me as well.
  5. Without knowing the lens focal length and aperture range, how could the reply make sense? What glass are you using in this case?
  6. The XF50 f/2 is underrated. It's only been in the past few years in the history of imaging that f/2 is not considered a large aperture (rubbish if you ask me) Great color, contrast, and accurate AF in a tiny package. Outside and tight indoor, this is the one iyam
  7. I use the Smallrig dual battery charger. Some complain it's too slow but it works like a trickle charger which is far better for battery life. https://www.amazon.com/SmallRig-NP-W235-Battery-Charger-Fujifilm/dp/B09Z6TH8WK
  8. It's a great camera body. It does however have quite a lot of customizations which can be overwhelming. Dialing it down to the proper way to assign buttons and dials can take you a bit of time but once you get it, it's amazing.
  9. The first thing I would check is if Clarity is anything other than Zero. That is a known issue for playback times.
  10. Well, I'm one year in and I'm not quite sure. I have a 20+ year background with Canon FF, analog + digital. I have really struggled with macro and fuji. I have a great setup but I think the OVF of Canon is suited much more than any EVF out there for that. Otherwise I am pretty happy. I do not like how easy it is to accidentally change settings on the X-T5 by bumping and dials turning by mistake. The menus are good but a bit heavy handed. I really like the prime lens selections and IQ up to the XF90, beyond that much is lacking. The 40mp sensor on crop is amazing for cropping without loss of detail and cleans up very well with noise reduction such as in LR. I find myself shooting with the 27 mkii and the 50 f/2 & 90 for the most part. I just picked up the Siggy 18-50 and feel it's very underrated and will make a great travel 3 primes in one lens. Size and weight are great and it's a fine looking piece of gear, if that matters to you or not. Well designed.
  11. Better optics, possibly wider aperture, IBIS, weather sealing, 40 mp X Trans 5
  12. Edited, sorry I did not pay correct attention to your posts wording. That being said: 21- 24 mm with a bit of correction can be nice indoors, so on crop that's 14 or 16? The XF 14 2.8 is a very underrated lens and has that 'look' of the older Fuji 35 folks love so much.
