Just heard the news Af update coming in Jan 2020 😕 so crap.. They should have have fixed this long time. This been so long since they released the 3.0. Fuji is sleeping!

Is there anyone who backed up the old firmware?

You can't reinstall old firmware. The camera will ignore firmware older than what's already installed.

Fuji's repair people can do it -- they have special tools, needed for dealing with bricked cameras -- but it's not something that owners can do.

So far with the latest firmware not seeing any af issue in video mode. It Hunts a bit on high aperture but not as worse at it used to
