XT2 - Battery use up when camera is shut off

need some advise, I am having XT2 battery grip attached to my camera. I found out that battery was use up when camera has turned off.

anyone having same issue??

Are the batteries actually used up - or just showing red in the camera? I have this occasionally where the batteries appear to be used up but actually aren't. Turning camera off, removing and replacing batteries fixed the problem.

@shlee76 I'm having the same issues. Seems to me only the batteries in the grip are affected. If I find some time, I'll investigate :-). Cheers!!!

thanks, @Phso...I have also experience

1) high battery consumption using the battery grip with normal shooting, it is not as advertised.

2) with battery grip, the battery shall draw from the grip (as stated in the manual), however, the inside camera battery is also being consumed.

@Greybeard, from what I see it does, cause 3 battery (including inside the camera) is slowly used up
