should i go for 3 new holy trinity ?

Hi everyone, im new to fuji x system, i intent to change my 3 lenses (samyang 12, XF 23 1.4 , 56 1.2) to XF 16 1.4, XF 35 1.4 and XF 90 F2 , my style of shooting are travel, children and portrait .is this decision correct ? im so interest in way of 23 1.4 rendering, its color is so beautiful .

I agree with these two: XF 35 1.4 and XF 90 F2 as they are both excellent lenses. I have the 14mm as my wide-angle which I am happy with.

 

There is no 'correct decision' so forget that line of enquiry. Take your time with your decision and try the prospective lenses first if you can.

 

It is what you feel happy using and are happy with the results that counts at the end of the day.

 

For travel I am thinking of replacing my 23mm with a 100F and keeping the 14mm, 35mm and 90mm as my 'travelling' kit.

yeah, i want to replace my samyang 12 , so i intent to replace it by 16 which between 12 and 23

I don't love the 23mm. Also the lose fitting lens-hood on the 14mm is not a pleasure to own.

The 23mm f2 is nice. It’s a lot smaller and lighter than the 1.4, and it’s weather-sealed. All of which makes it a great travel lens

I would not change them, but would sell my kidney to get the other three.

 

btw ı have samyang 12, 35 1.4, 56 1.2. I also tried 23 1.4 and 90 2. out of those I believe the 23 1.4 is the best.

For travel and children the 35 f/2 makes more sense than the f/1.4 because of faster AF and WR
