Change button assignments quickly

Hi folks, how do I set up a custom mode/settings re buttons etc for my XT5 so that I can quickly change button assignments when I use a lens that doesn't have an aperture ring ?

Hi Greybeard, currently my front and rear dials are set up for Shutter Speed and ISO and I use the aperture ring on the lens. But want to quickly change one of them (preferably front dial) to aperture when I use my wide-angle which doesn't have an aperture ring. Many Thanks.

Does it not automatically switch to aperture on the front dial with a lens without aperture ring?

That’s what I thought as well. All my Fujifilm lenses have aperture rings, but couple Nikon lenses I use don’t and when I attach them the front dial switches to aperture.

You can choose between three different possible front command dial setups. Further on, the page also lists possible aperture settings.

Thanks this what I reverted to doing as I only had shutter assigned to front command dial.
