35mm F2 WR Build Quality

I wanted to get the 35mm f2 WR,   i love the review,  but one thing im not sure of,   does it build with plastic ? or partially ? would it last me many years to come in photography ?

No, there is no plastic.

It is more solid than my Nikon 50 mm f/1.8 lens. The 35 mm f/2 is a lovely lens.

Rock solid. Have had it in my work bag since the day it was released. Hasn't even picked up a scratch.

One of the best in the Fujifilm stable of lenses.   Weather resistant, metal build and excellent glass.

Just to clarify a little: The Fuji lenses are metal (aluminum) clad and with metal (aluminum) mounts (although I think the 50-140 has a brass mount), but they are plastic on the inside. That is, the build quality is better than your usual modern plastic lens, but not as good as vintage all metal lens construction. Since the metal mount is screwed into a plastic internal frame, that's usually where they break.

I dropped mine on the floor while pulling my camera from the bag and the lens was on top of it... no marks, changes in IQ or mechanics... works like a charm...
