Using SD cards with different speeds in X-Pro2's 2 memory slots

I recently purchased the X-Pro2 and am really enjoying using my first mirrorless camera.

 

One of the things I like is the dual memory card slot feature and intend using slot1 for Raw images and slot 2 for their Jpegs – possibly using not only Smaller but also Slower cards for the Jpegs ( to save some cash ! ).

 

Does it matter if SD cards with different Write Speeds are used in the 2 slots. My instinct tells me to keep them the same, but does anyone have experience of using different cards simultaneously in the X-Pro2 to any detriment ? Are there any other considerations to be brought to bear when choosing SD cards for Raw & Jpeg use in this way ?

I use a fast 64Gb card for RAWs and a slower 32Gb card for the JPEGs. Works perfectly!

I bought two 64 Gig cards, Lexar 2000s, one for each slot. Yes the second slot is slower but I usually (Nikon) put raw and Jpegs on same card.

64 Gigs is lots of room. If I see I'm about to use up capacity I intend to stop and swap the cards.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I use Sandisk, 16 UHS2 in one slot and 32 UHS1 in the other. No problems so far...

This is even intended with the X-Pro2, because only slot 1 is UHS II compatible. Slot 2 only supports UHS I.

Thanks Chucktin, Opteron & adzman808.  Don't think I'll be using UHSII - as I understand it they are far faster than I'll need @ upwards of 160 MB/S ?).
