Issues switching between OVF and EVF

HI,

 

Just recently the EVF on my xpro2 intermittently fails to replace the OVF when switching between the two (or when on "EVF + eye sensor"). What happens is that the OVF does not disappear and the EVF gets "overlaid" on top and I see two superimposed images, the optical and the electronic.

 

Has anyone had that problem before? I've tried all sorts of settings, switching on and off, but to no avail.

had this issue wit a x100s, may need servicing, mine did that randomly for about 5 min and later it fixed itself. weird....

My X-Pro1 went to Fujifilm Service for a very similar issue.

Hi,

I have the same problem on my X-Pro3. Problem when switching between EVF and OVF and superimposed double image. 
Has anyone found a solution?

Hi,

My XPro2 had to be sent back for repair under warranty and the problem did not re-appear afterwards. Am disappointed, though, that they did not fix the problem once and for all with the XPro3
