What's really interesting to me is that the body is shorter in height than a X-T2 with battery grip attached. This means it looks to be truly compact, and might actually make for viable, easy to carry and transport MF body...looks like it might be a real winner for studio, portrait and landscape photographers.

No, seriously, you'd have to wait for the GFX 50T or 50s mk2 to emerge before you'd see a real drop in price.

 

The GFX 50s has no competition at this point so it'll be sitting quite comfortable as the affordable Horsieblah for the next few years....

What might be the price in a few years?

 

Maybe 10-15% less in a couple of years if we have to follow the trends of other MF cameras, like the Pentax 645z for example.

 

The lens might not even move as much...

10-15% is obviously not enough for a wide market and me ) , and what even worse is that GFX has already affected APS-C lense's development. Six new lenses for GFX within a year... of cause there is no room for FX.
