Then again, I am more than willing to pay more for a graphite version of a camera, so I'm really not one to talk.  lol

Do yourself a Favor:  Go on eBay.  Find one.  I do and I did for all my Fuji lenses.  I love Fuji, but come on!! 69.95 for a LENS HOOD!?  Seriously?

 

I've got aftermarket lenshoods for my 16, 23, 18-55, 55-200, and 35 on eBay and I probably paid LESS FOR ALL OF THEM than 69.95.

I had an aftermarket lens hood for my 16mm.  But it was always a bit to big for my liking and while in Japan I bought my the LH-XF16 hood (as a souvenir too).  It's more compact, discreet and well looks neater.  If I do end up buying the 23mm (really wish it was a WR lens) I'll probably end up buying this lens hood.

 

Oh and I still have aftermarket lens hoods for my 35mm 1.4 & 90mm f2.  I'll be buying another aftermarket vented hood for my recently acquired 18-55 f2.8-4.

Back on those 3 original primes, Fuji used to give you the metal hood with the lens!
