X100v weather-sealing with other filters

Recommended Posts

As long as it is a screw-in filter, yes it will protect against weather. However, this is never waterproof (just like the Fuji filter) so don't leave it lens up in the rain and let a puddle arise in the filter. It might slowly trickle down or at least create a damp between lens and filter.

If it is a system filter, it is obviously not protecting. You also might want to be careful with screw-in filters that have separate rings like POL or Variable ND filters.
