I’m embarrassed to ask. I’ve gone through the menus and controls. But, I’ve evidently set the camera to display the most recent picture in the viewfinder or LCD just after I take a picture. I’m so embarrassed, but I can’t seem to find the menu command to stop this. No you know why I like the hidden LCD on my XPro-3 ;) In the meantime I’ll continue to scroll the menus!

Setup Menu - Screen settings - Image Display will disable Image review for all but one particular configuration.

The exception is if your VIEWMODE is set to Eye Sensor + LCD Playback, where upon you'll get plaback if you shoot via the EVF then take the camera away from your face.

The X-T2 does, which I tripped over recently.

I'll try my Pro-3 and see if this does the same. Of course most of time I've got the LCD in hidden "stealth" mode ;)

    • Hey everyone, my name is Derek. I’m new to photography in a “serious” way (since December 2024), but have completely fallen in love! If im not actively taking photos, I’m learning and immersing my in photography, whether that’s reading or watching videos, or just talking about it with other people. I have a Fuji X-T50 and a Nikon D610 and I love both. I call New England home and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else! Good to meet everyone!
    • My first Fuji was the X-E3, it was bad to hold and I was often accidentally actuating buttons and controls. I purchased the Fuji metal handgrip for it and found it was significantly improved. Then I disabled the Q button as I was often accidentally pressing it, I also disabled the touch screen. I still own and use the camera 8 years later and it's been a great photographic tool. Maybe look into a handgrip and some adjustments to the controls before you jump ship.
    • Hey guys, I'm just curious to see if there is anybody  thinking fuji should have launched a cinema camera in there apsc sized cameras? I have been waiting for one forever a real well priced and capable body with no ibis...  I shoot video / shortfilms and have a good workflow setup with the film Sims. Would be great to see something pushing the limits like the xh2 but no ibis and better auto focus. Is it just me?
    • Hi to everyone, I'm finding this thing very frustrating and don't even understand why it should happen. I'm using two X-T3s and a X-E 3 and it happens on all those cameras (all the firmware are up to date): When in MF I focus with the AF-On (AF-L) button. Then when half pressing the shutter most of the time (but not always!!!) the lens slightly moves the focus motor before being ready to shoot (the focus is always perfect though). The problem is that if I press the shutter button completely it takes that half a second (doing that little noise) before taking the shot. This is so frustrating when I need to capture the moment. I don't even get why the lens should do it if it's already focused...and on top of that it doesn't happen all of the time. If it does it it's until I focus with the button again, if it doesn't it continues not to do it until I focus again in another spot. It looks like it's random at every new focusing This never happens with the 18 1.4 or other fast focusing primes, but happens exactly the same with the 27 f2.8 or the 18 f2.0. It looks like it affects standard motor lenses. Any other experiences on this behaviour? Thanks!
    • Hi, I got a X-T10 and now the camera shots constantly down due to sensor cleaning. Fuji refuses to do to a Service. I tried to clean the sensor my self with no success. Anybody got any Tip where to get a service in Europe to get the sensor cleaned?   thanks   Regards
