All reviewer usually have link to random photosites where you can buy Stuff. So nothing they say can be trusted, if its bad review, noone buys anything. So it is in his best interest to recommend whatever junk. Just my opinion, not universal true. Sent from my Nexus 6 mobile

Sony power vs the siren-song of Kaizen
elmacus replied to moxford's topic in Newbie / Self Introduction
No Fluff-Fluff sensor from Fujifilm. MF sensor might come. I changed to Fujifilm for the fun of manual aperture and shutter. Hate menys shooting from Canon. Oh the look of my brothers face with his Sony A7rii when he saw the lowlight shoot from my X-Pro1 at iso 6400. FF-equv? Couldnt care less, its just a number. If you need the highest mumbojumbo techspec, buy a Sony. If you want to have fun, buy a Fujifilm. I cant see any lack of wideangle. Good luck. You soon will get a toon of more input in this thread. X-E2 or X-Pro1?
elmacus replied to Marcin Petruszka's topic in Fuji X-E4 / Fuji X-E3 / Fuji X-E1 / Fuji X-E2 / Fuji X-E2s
Hi. I bought both these, X-Pro1 to me and X-E2 to my wife. Got it with two lenses, 18 + 35/1.4 and later a 90 mm f2, E2 have the 18-55 zoom. Using glases on P1 is no problem. With the 90 mm you cant use OVF. Have not tried 56 mm yet. Both work ofc. E2 is faster with AF. P1 feels more robust and "pro". I will also laterbuy the P2 so it was nota hard decision for me. Best is to try them both at a store and then decide. Good luck. You will be happy with any of them i think. Sent from my Nexus 6 mobile -

Flashing display.
elmacus replied to elmacus's topic in Fuji X-E4 / Fuji X-E3 / Fuji X-E1 / Fuji X-E2 / Fuji X-E2s
Update. I have now sent it again to service i UK, and they still dont read or understand my fault. Luckily the Swedish Fujifilm understand my frustration and sent me a replacement unit. And voila, its working as expected at LCD screen, no disturbance, and EVF is almost perfect, still some minor but these are the one you guys see also, so ok. Im happy. Thanks everyone that commented on my problem. Sent from my Nexus 6 mobile -
Flashing display.
elmacus replied to elmacus's topic in Fuji X-E4 / Fuji X-E3 / Fuji X-E1 / Fuji X-E2 / Fuji X-E2s
Thanks for input, my problem is not noise from sensor since i cant record or playback the fault. Only visible in evf and screen regardless of iso. Its the small electrical dots looking like stars. My unit is now sent to Fujifilm again. Sent from my Nexus 6 mobile -

Ok forget that video. It was hard to make movie of darkness. Again: this thread is NOT about noise. If you think so, please dont comment. Sent from my Nexus 6 mobile -
Flashing display.
elmacus replied to elmacus's topic in Fuji X-E4 / Fuji X-E3 / Fuji X-E1 / Fuji X-E2 / Fuji X-E2s
Its not only with lens coverd, its allways in low light. I have been to store and checked other X-E2 and that did not sparkle with "stars". Luckily i have spoken to Fuji Sweden and they promised to fix this. I will do new video after repair is success and show the differens. Our usecase that mostly shooting indoor night and outside night, this is a real problem and its not noise or something we invent to keep fuji repairs busy. Sent from my Nexus 6 mobile -

But was at a store and tried another XE2 now and it didnt have this. Tried XT10 XA2 and XPro1, no problem at all. In viewfinder its even more anoying, really bright sparkles like shining stars. Impossible at all to use at dark shooting. Sent from my Nexus 6 mobile -
Hi. I bought a X-E2 to my wife. When shooting in low light i saw sparks/flashes in display and EVF, not on pic afterwords. Sent it to Fujifilm in Uk, they said its no fault and cleaned it. Can someone here confirm this? Check my film on youtube (shoot with XPro1). Just check your XE2 with lens protection cap on. I have not seen this on my X-Pro1 or X-T10 or X-A2. new Firmware for X-T1, X-E2 & Co coming October 29
elmacus replied to Patrick FR's topic in Fuji X Rumors & News
Mr Fuji is waiting for 4.2 since he loves the X-E2. (Bought one for my wife). T1 users are the beta testers ;-) Skickat från min Nexus 6 -
Recently bought Pro1 and love it. The other models is mostly plastic feeling. Sold my Canon 760d with 24 MP, and MP is not everything i can tell you. 6d would have been better path but these lenses are just to big for easy streetphoto, and aperture+shutter dial is just mandatory now. Will i buy Pro2? Probably if its an logical upgrade, but not on releaseday. Higher ISO is an upgrade for me since i like night photo. My friends see my Pro1 and thinks im am a "pro", all are impressed. So i stick to rangefinder. "if you need photoshop, you didnt take a photo" Skickat från min Nexus 6

XT-1 Firmware Should go to Xpro-1 too
elmacus replied to EduFierro's topic in Fuji X-Pro 1 / Fuji X-Pro 2 / Fuji X-Pro 3
X-Pro1 is still a valid and selling camera. Fujifilm staff probably have own to play with so they also want updates. Ok i predict that after the launch of pro2 version 5.0 firmware will be ported to our loved Pro1 ;-) Skickat från min Nexus 6 -
Hi. Just want to say hi. Have Canon 760d but got bored with all automatic that was hard to set, heavy + big when out walking. I have now started with a brand new Pro1 with 18/2.0 + 35/1.4 campaign kit, so the cam was basically free. Love to set more knobs manually and ovf. I am most into astroscape, landscape, portrait and some street, + the normal family and partyphotos. Also got a telescope Nexstar 130 SLT that i will mount cam to for some moon shoots. Now to sell the old stuff and Tamron junk for next years lenses and body from Fujifilm. Also need to sell the wifes Pentax K-x ;-) Best regards Elmacus
