  1. nicely done!!
  2. I own the 14mm f2.8, bought used for a ridiculously low price. Absolutely love the 14mm for the sharpness and low distortion. Recently I picked up a used 16mm f2.8 for CDN$300 and LOVE IT. Super sharp, very fast focusing, weather sealed, and small. I won't sell my 14mm but if you can find the 16mm f2.8 used for less, I'd grab it. If you are sticking to buying new I'd still go for the 16mm f2.8 because it is $500 more for the 14mm. YMMV

  8. I use a Helios M42 44-2 with an adapter with ZERO problems, wonderful swirling bokeh. I also use several Pentax prime lenses with and adapter with no problems
  9. I suggest you use two thumbs, one on either side at the bottom. Apply a little pressure alternating each side and it will come right off, I've done it often. Don't pull on the rubber or it may rip. Easy Peasy
  10. Well, sir, a cable release is generally used on a static camera on a tripod or resting on something. A soft release isn't used specifically for tripod work, it's for everyday work. I would think this is fairly obvious
  11. just a question about how this could have happened....did you have a screw-in soft release on the shutter button? I use a soft release but was told it creates greater strain/stress on the mechanism which makes sense to me. I still use one though
  12. I spoke with the Fuji Guys a few weeks ago, they expect a price increase soon, at least in Canada
  13. Has anyone been shooting Leica glass on their X-T1, T2, T10, T20? If so, are you using Fuji's own adapter and which lenses, and how are your results?
  14. You can pick up a nice used 14mm f2.8 for much cheaper than the 16mm f1.4, although you give up speed and WR. The 14mm is an awesome little lens.
  15. will you be holding your gear as it makes the plunge?
  16. not pure emotion, it's "pandering".
  17. check your Q menu to see if you have the flash option suppressed
  18. Save yourself the trouble of trying to sell off the XC lenses in a few months time, buy quality glass
