  1. On my x-s10 all buttons feel the same.. maybe try blowing some air behind the button…some dust might be stuck inside..
  2. think about a camera insert which fits the body with one of the lenses mounted and has a few slots for the other 2 lenses, which are anyway tiny, and get whatever backpack you fancy
  3. i also switched from a mirrorless canon to the x-s10, but from the M5 bags...too many bags...i never have the perfect bag...2 shoulder bags, 1 sling, 3 backpacks... i also use a peak design leash for whenever i need to throw the camera over my shoulder, otherwise i attach a pd cuff recently got a national geographic carbon tripod which seems really well made and goes up to 1.8m and it was only 100€ what is waiting in my basket on amazon is a set of 2 patona batteries, a nitecore dual charger and an L plate similar to the smallrig one but for half the price the camera is quite new to the market and a different form factor from the regular fuji style of bodies so it makes sense that there aren't that many dedicated accessories yet, but this will change
  4. nope. fuji didn't give the x-s10 that option
  5. it depends which country you‘re in. In europe each country has their own second hand marketplace website which is a much better place to sell something than ebay, which has become a storefront for small dealers and chinese imports. Facebook marketplace is also fine, i‘ve managed to sell something there too
  6. while i think a rear dial would have been welcomed, my x-e1 is also missing the front dial, so it would be the same for me. the other features the x-e4 brings over the 1 are a definite upgrade and the camera simply looks amazing
  7. Is the switch on the camera set to manual or one of the autofocus modes?
  8. Take a look at the dicapac cases...you can also keep using the case when you switch cameras have one since my canon dslr days and i can recomend it over other soft cases since it has a solid glass front cover
  9. Since the update of the forum interface the Unread Content button on the top right doesn‘t work anymore...it displays only „there is no new content“ (or whatever the exact message is) Using Safari on latest iPadOS
  10. check this article by jonas rask, who has both...he's not a youtuber so.. The 7artisans 35mm f0.95 review – jonasrask | photography also check his other articles as his street photos are out of this world
  11. what was the shutter speed? it was probably faster than the trigger could sync
  12. for surfing and shallow diving take a look at the dicapac cases
  13. It seems you need a fujica x to fuji x adapter They’re not expensive, only about 25$
  14. mode: auto? you should be in aperture priority mode to change the aperture manually and have the other settings adjust automatically
  15. Because the camera is still made to take a correct exposure. With low light it will first decrease the shutter speed to the minimum you’ve set, then increase the iso and if it’s still underexposed it will decrease the shutter speed again below your set limit, but it will never increase the iso above the limit
  16. Same happens on my x-e3, canon M and m5. It’s an inconvenience but far far away from what you call a design disaster it’s a limitation of small bodies. Some mechanical calculations were made and that ended up being the best support point
  17. don't know about the second hand market in the Netherlands, but in Austria a used XF35 is 50% more than a new XC35 and other than the outside shell and aperture ring, there is no difference in optics, so there won't be any difference in IQ to answer to the OP: it depends what you shoot. a fast prime is always nice to have but if you don't use it because you prefer the zoom, then it's irrelevant how good it is
  18. original post, now edited, stated 18-55 for the 16-55 i have no clue why it might shift exposure
  19. the 18-55 is not a constant aperture lens. when zooming in the aperture will close to f4. have you tried setting the aperture to f4 and experienced the same issue?
  20. i don't think any shop owner would be happy with you sticking a huge plunger on their window...so the polarizer solution is, at least, more elegant
  21. a circular polarizer should eliminate the reflections, if that's what you want otherwise try using them to your advantage by moving around a bit to find shadows cast on the glass through which you can see inside
  22. i wouldn't recommend using a flash in a cave. it can easily disturb any wildlife in there, even if you don't see any animals in tourist caves (where you have to pay for a ticket or there is a guided tour) it's forbidden to use a flash (with some exceptions) because increased levels of light can stimulate the growth of moss
  23. No, the product is bad FOR YOU. Others who have tried it loved it and others have not. There is no perfect product for everyone. You give so few details about the problems that it's hard to take the post seriously. Also, i had to read through all of it to figure out what you're complaining about. And why would CEOs read a random internet post about a (maybe but unlikely) faulty unit?
  24. well...one reason would be that i want to try a lens with an aperture control ring and secondly, i really don't like how the XC version looks...not an objective reason but a reason nonetheless
  25. i might have the opportunity to get for my X-E1 (and in the future X-E3 or 4) a fuji 35 1.4 second hand for about 300€ here where i live...i don't know the actual condition of the lens, the person selling it states it's working perfectly.. my question would be: is that offer too good to be true? might there be some hidden flaws or defects? should i rather go for the f2 version? should i consider the viltrox 33?
