hello, I'm new here and new to this kind of equipment, so please excuse any noob questions. Thanks! A little over 6 months ago, I purchased an XT-2 as well as a 35mm f1.4 lens to go with it. Needless to say it was love at first sight! Today I received the 55-200mm lens, and again I'm very pleased so far for this first test drive. I can't help but notice the difference in both lenses' focus rings. I'm not quite sure how to put it, other than the 35mm feels very stiff, compared to the 55-200mm which feels extremely loose. The 55-200mm might not be loose in a bad way, it actually feels really smooth. I'm worried about two things: -Is the 55-200mm too loose, would it get worse? -Is the 34mm f1.4 too stiff, is there something wrong with it? I would really appreciate any inputs regarding focus rings in general, as well as these 2 lenses specifically. Thanks!!!

Hi All I have the 35mm f1.4 that I like a lot. It's kinda welded to my xpro2 as it takes 99% of my photos. I like the simplicity of the 50mm equivalent fov, and the fact I can use it for almost everything. I'm looking for another 35mm lens, with a wider opening, as 1.4 does not always take enough light in (I do a lot of portraits at night). So I'm considering the Mitakon 35mm f0.95, which seems to have a lot of good user reviews. I can get it used under 400€ I think. Meanwhile, 7artisans announced a similar lens for half that price which, if I am to believe the hype, is equal if not better than the Mitakon. Should I believe it, and get the 7 artisans? Or should I consider that 7artisans sent their best copies for youtubers for review, and that in reality, a 250$ lens can't be as good as a 550$ one? in which case I should get the Mitakon? 6mon

Hello all, my apologies if this topic has been asked before. I have the X-E2s model and normally use my 18-55 zoom lens. I also have the 18 f/2 and 35 f/1.4 prime lenses. Whenever I use these lenses it seems that the auto focus goes haywire. The lens is constantly chattering back and forth as if it is trying to focus. It does not matter if the camera is in the "auto" mode or manual. Or if the focus setting is single or continuous. The only time it stops doing this is when I switch the camera to the manual focus mode. The camera operates normally with the zoom lens but this drives me crazy when trying to use the prime lenses! I have checked the firmware on the camera and lenses and everything is using the most current version. Any help would be appreciated. I rarely use either of the lenses now because of this problem. Thanks, Jim White
