  7. You can download a complete manual in pdf format from the Fujifilm website. Although not perfect, it has LOTS more info than the basic printed manual that comes with the camera. I gnashed my teeth for quite some time before purchasing the X30, since I had an X100S and X-T1 with three great prime lenses. But I sure am glad I did, before it was discontinued. It goes everywhere, especially on hikes and other nature-based outings. My neck and shoulders are glad not to be toting more weight, and the zoom lens is incredibly sharp. The colors are also wonderful. I only wish it covered 24mm to 135mm equivalents. I am continually impressed by the IQ from such a small sensor.

  9. After viewing a few more photographs from yesterday, it definitely appears that there is some misalignment. Although it is relatively minor, I will have to contact Fuji tech support about this. Thanks very much for your help!
  10. Yes, I can see what you are saying. Perhaps the lens is misaligned?
  11. IIRC, due to other cacti present I was unable to get exactly above the plant and flowers. So perhaps the camera was at an angle, which might account for the difference in distance between upper left and upper right? BTW, the same camera and macro setting was used for all these photographs.

  13. I do not know, but the photograph has been cropped a bit.
  14. Thanks for responding. The jpeg of the daylily (#1) is exposed correctly, but the other 4 jpegs are, as you stated, overexposed. Since the RAFs are not, I wonder why? I probably did not notice since my monitor brightness is set to medium. I processed the RAFs of the last 4, and these are now posted.
  15. It was about 90 degrees F here today, and just viewing this photograph helped me to cool down! Something about the swirling of the water, cascading over the mostly submerged rock, and wavelets. Not the same as being there, of course!
