  2. Would rather see a "budget" UWA lens to go with the 18-55 f/2.8-f/4 Maybe something like 10-18 f/4
  3. Their premium zoom trinity is about to be complete! 8-16 f/2.8 16-55 f/2.8 50-140 f/2.8
  4. Been using lightroom 5.6 for a while and wondering if the X-TRANS sensors works will with this version of LR. I know Adobe been getting better at reading fuji sensors but my version isn't the latest exactly I use X-Pro1 at the moment so it's the first X-Trans sensor if it makes any difference.
  5. It was just a quick snapshot. Don't be a dick
  6. Had my X-Pro1 for almost a month and only shot with PROVIA/STANDDARD which is fine and gives very neutral colors but it's kinda boring. Tried the NEG.STD today and I have to say I really liking the result with less saturated colors. Looks a bit more clean to my eyes for some reason. Which film simulations do you prefer using and in what situations?
  7. Some of Patricks kryptic replies in comments field.
  8. I get a feeling that there is more to this than the actuall video ☺
  9. Wo, the 35 f/2 has a noticably faster AF than the 18. I don't find my X-Pro1 slow to be honest. I remember my x100s being way slower. Only used it a cpl of minutes and I love this lens already. Perfect focal lenght for taking pics of my kid.
  10. I noticed when it basically jump over f/8 and I had to go back ☺
  11. If the X-T2 is bigger than the X-Pro2 I might consider getting the X-Pro2 instead. The size, discreteness and portability is one of the main reasons where I switched from Canon to Fuji in the first place. Kinda tempting to go with X-PRO 2 anyway, because I enjoy the OVF on my X-Pro1 and I like the rangefinder look of the camera more than the X-T1 dslr look. Then again, I don't have a X-T1 and not sure how awesome that EVF is to use (only tried it briefly.
  12. Bought the 18f/2 a couple of weeks ago and noticed that the aperture ring on f/8 actually gives me f/7.1. I have go up to f/9 and then back to get to f/8. Anyway, I returned it to the store where I bought it and they are going to send it to FUJIs nearest repair shop. It's the only lens I have (so far), so I texted to Fuji on facebook and they replied that I could borrow the 18 f/2 while I wait for my copy to come back which made me happy. Then it turns out that their copy has been dropped or something so it was fully functionin, and they asked me what other lens I wanted to borrow in the meanwhile, and I replied 35 f/2 or the 18-55 f/2.8 and they replied I could borrow both. Very fast and helpful srvice I have to say. I am pleased.
  13. yeah I returned it in to the store where I bought it. Fuji says they will loan out a copy while I wait.

Thank you for the tips! So I guess I should make the sure the face covers the whole rectangle to be sure it's in focus as I understand it from you. I wish the rectangle was smaller.
  17. One thing that is kinda weird. When ibput the aperture ring on f/8 it actually gives me f/7.1 I have go up a klick and then back to get to f/8
  18. This lens is surprisingly nice to use indoors taking pics of my kid. Straight out of cam, no post processing. Couldn't get this kind of pic with any of my canon lenses because there is no 18 f/2. And I wouldn't get these wonderful colors even with post processing.

Been mostly using OVF. A lot of missed shots (out of focus), but probably just me coming from a DSLR Anyway, I enjoy the camera, the portability, the style, the IQ. All these shots are straight out of cam, no post processing what so ever. All shot with the 18 f/2
  20. Another question. In OVF mode, I only want the levels, but not the histogram, is it possible to get rid of?
  21. First attempt with Xpro1. I don't hear any difference between putting on silence mode...
