    Japanese Netsuke

Hi, this is my first post here I've created an online catalog and hope you enjoy it. All pictures taken with my X-T3 and a XF 80 lens: https://mount-sushi.com/netsuke/gallery/index.html Suggestions for improvement etc. are welcome. I'm not a professional photographer, and these sculptures are really small ... Thank you.

  2. The Jacobean House stands in the grounds of the much older Hay Castle at Hay-on-Wye. It's just been refurbished, at great cost. They did a good job, as I hope the image shows. X-T2, 50 mm XR lens.

    Pelican Case useres?

Same, 1510 for storage of all main gear, a Storm i1200 for Macro related gear. Never take them out of the house except for the odd road trip where I need to secure the case with a cable like in a sketchy hotel or whatnot. Lately I have been thinking of getting a teeny case with plucked foam just for the X-T5 and the 27+50 f/2. Like a Seahorse 230.

    16-80 or 10-24

I may be super late for this post, but if you shot and liked the 24-70 f 2.8 then get the Sigma 18-50 f2.8. Better image quality than the 16-80, much lighter, less expensive, and a good focal range. If you want more focal range the Tamron 17-70 is a good option, but bigger and heavier than the Sigma. I had 2 copies of the 16-80 (good ones) and was not impressed (it's okay), but I REALLY like the Sigma.

  6. Hi everyone. New to the forum, I am Javier from Spain (Madrid). Amateur photographer with many things to learn yet. I use Fuji XH1 and XT2 with several lenses and adapters, AF and manual (legacy). My interests are on landscape and street photography. Very glad to be here.

  7. I have a plethora of Fujifilm equipment. Here's my favorite. The original X100 was my entry drug. Moved from 30+ years of Canon use to Fuji in 2011 and never looked back.

  8. I’ve only just stumbled on this information on another forum and thought i’d share it here. I wouldn’t normally use the camera remote app to transfer images to my phone but at the moment i’m between imacs and left with no alternative! So, this may not come as news to any of you but the camera is set by default to reduce jpeg file size to a maximum of 3mb for sending via the app. Took me a good long while to figure out why my images looked crap, even questioned the resolution of my phone screen! :D Anyway, if you want to get the full size files then it’s tucked away in setup menu > connection setting > general settings > resize image for smartphone > OFF I reprocessed a RAW file on the camera and sent it again, 14.6mb as opposed to 1.1mb! Life changing :D
