I have a plethora of Fujifilm equipment. Here's my favorite. The original X100 was my entry drug. Moved from 30+ years of Canon use to Fuji in 2011 and never looked back.

Good for #Fujifilm. Proud supporter and very happy to see that they did not crumble to #Ransomware hacker demands. More companies should do this. The best way to eliminate these type of attacks.

Once a new version comes out, you're not going to see any meaningful performance updates except to ensure compatibility of new lenses.

All these are great in their own way. My favorite was from a recent family trip to Washington DC. It was getting dark at about 9pm at night. This is the X-T1 with the 18-55 kit lens hand-held. Post processed with Silver Efex Pro. CC welcomed.

My search for the new and unusual in photography brings me to unexpected places.

Some things are interesting but some are plain are simply weird.

This gizmo has been invented ( energy which could have been better used in a different and more productive way) to encourage a mobile-phone-photographer, whilst using his phone as a camera, to better compose his pictures by transforming the phone into a bulky and not particularly good camera.

    Look!

The ridiculous thing is that you buy and extremely bulky box to put ypour phone in, why you could buy a proper camera and make better pictures while carrying around a much smaller object!

Same thing applies to a Go pro house which transforms

the look of your go pro into a look alike of a classic camera,

    Why?

Actually, there is something about ISO/Q Menu on the x100T that I wish would make it to the X-T1: multiple Auto-ISO setting groups. That's one feature I really miss about that camera after moving to the X-T1.  I'm frequently changing the upper bound of Auto-ISO, since I shoot in aperture priority with with auto ISO most of the time, and the ability to hit the Q menu to quickly dial in one of the Auto groups made that much faster.

I noticed that on the X100t, the option exists to use the ISO as a quick menu button.  This does not seem to be an option on the X-T1.  I assume it is because the X-T1 has a dedicated ISO dial on the body and the X100T does not? Or I am I missing something here?  I would like to have the ISO settings a parameter on the custom settings as below image of the x100t.

I would like to have a second X-T1 as I shoot a lot of events and 2 bodies is much faster than switching lenses. I love my X-T1 though I do wish that the AF was a bit faster and more reliable when shooting in lower light. I suppose I'll just go ahead and get a second body now even if I swap one out for an X-T2 mid 2016

An ideal X-T2 for me - I'd like 2 card slots, stay at 16MP, better low light AF, better high ISO performance and longer battery life.

BTW - I recently shot an outdoor event in the rain and my X-T1 handled it without incident. The camera was quite wet but all was well...

I have no doubt Fuji will keep improving their AF, and their lens roadmap is on the right track, a long tele prime would be awesome. I'm hoping for at least a 24mp bump and AE bracketing greater than -1 to +1, that's what my work requires. If no megapixel increase I won't bother, because the X-T1 is fulfilling 80% of what I need on a daily basis.

24MP would be nice in an X-T2, but unlike others who are adamant that it's a "must have", not sure that not having that would be a deal killer for me.  What would be is a lack of substantial improvements in the AF subsystem, both in terms of low light AF and tracking.  Probably the biggest complaint I've had (and read from others in various forums) about the transition from DSLRs to Fuji mirrorless has related to challenges in using their cameras (X-T1 in particular) for sports, wildlife, BIF, etc.  If Fuji were to take a hint from Sony and invest heavily in improving their AF and delivering reasonable DSLR class performance, the X-T2 could be a true killer camera.  Their lens selection (plus roadmap additions) already would meet most photographers' needs.  A major improvement in AF would be a real game changer, IMHO.  What's listed in the rumors so far is pretty well a big "yawn", however, I'd have to believe (and hope) that Fuji has more up their sleeve.
