  2. Hello, I just bought the viltrox 85mm f1.8 and when I checked the details from a jpeg I saw that the maxim aperture is f1.7 Why would this info be in there? So the f1.6 "update" might be true?
  3. I don't know about RAV POWER batteries in particular but some batteries can swell up - I generally use an external charger and keep an eye on them
  4. Nope, in fact I'm only shooting with electronic shutter now. I guess I'd have more issues trying to fix it. And now I have a Nikon D5 if I need to shoot with a better shutter.
  5. Hi I would just like to ask if its okay to charge a Third party battery inside my camera specifically XS10 ? is there a thing to considered? or I don't have to worry about? thanks!.. My battery comes from RAV POWER.

  7. This just started happening with my beloved X-E2. I am not pressing the play button, but sometimes when I hold the body a certain way, it acts like the Playback button is being pressed. At times, it will toggle in/out/in/out of Playback mode. Tilting the camera at a different angle generally stops it. So far this is only happening with the XC 50-230 with some (very light) close-up lenses attached. Anybody else ever experienced this?
  8. I've had a very similar problem, same blinking light after taking a still image & unable to view the image/write image to card etc I've always used it tethered in studio & forgot that I changed a connection setting in the setup menu when I first got the camera, basically Setup > Connection setting > connection mode > & select as needed, switching from Tether Shooting Fixed to Tether shooting Auto, sorted it for me & thankfully no need to return as faulty etc
  9. Hi. Sorry to hear you have the same issue. But also good to know it’s not just me as many have suggested! There is definitely an issue with Nisi. I just ordered and received the Nisi square hood and filter adaptor which they have updated their website to say is compatible BUT it’s not! I have now been asked by them to submit video of the error to their WhatsApp customer service number and they are looking into it. If you have WhatsApp and want to do the same so they might actually realise there is a problem their customer service team are on +44 7723 860624 (WhatsApp). Here’s a photo showing their filter thread v other companies filter adaptor. Nisi on the left. Clearly not enough room for the lens to move
  10. I get the error as well with the Nisi all in one kit on my x100vi. It’s because the lens touches the built in UV filter when focusing at minimum distance. I love the kit, but it’s disappointing because it was quite expensive and I don’t want to use it and damage the camera
  11. Hi there , im newbie here , just brough a Fuji Xt30 . hope to learn new stuff here . Elizabeth
  12. I have been using a TT Artisan 27mm 2.8 AF Lens for the past 18 months and it works fine. I tried three different fuji lens and the all caused the blinking/Lens error problem. I have tried everything that was recommended to remedy the problem but have had no luck what so ever. Is this a firmware issue or a mechanical problem? If mechanical why would only one lens work and not the others? I hope someone comes up with a different solution that I have not tired before sending it off to Fuji. Thanks in advance! Cheers, BR
  13. X Raw studio initially recognises my x-e4. Then it doesn't. It then starts searching for it. Sometimes it finds it and I can use the app for a few minutes. THen the search process starts all over again. Most of the time not finding the camera. I then need to remove the battery in order to stop the green light flashing. I tried different cables and ports but the result is always the same. I have installed the most recent update as well 1.220
  14. I am shooting with a Fujifilm X-H2 with an XF 16-80 1:4 lens. I have noticed that the left and right edges of a landscape frame are not in sharp focus while the center is. Anyone else have this problem? It seems to happen in all focus modes but not with other lenses.
  15. Hi, I only can speak of the Kippon 645 with focal reducer. It states in their website that it corrects some of the issues with adapted 645 lenses. I do not know if this is true or not but I can say that I am happy with the results and that I would recomend it. I attached some samples with me pushing the lenses to wide open which in theory should make for the worst performance problems with focus are human error probably https://imgur.com/a/d1SXoyf
  16. I had the X-T10 - “two step”. I have the X-T2 - “two step” and X-T5 - “three step”. I was annoyed at first but now I don’t even think about it. I got used to it.
  17. HI, I recently got an X-T30II after having and having had many Fuji cameras. It's the first time the shutter button behaves this way, so I'm wondering if it's normal or malfunctioning. Instead of having "two steps" focus and shot it has an empty travel before it activates the focus. Let me explain, pressing the button with light force makes it travel 1mm or so and then it stops (still no focus engaged), adding a tiny bit of force moves it to the next step and it focuses, again a bit more force for the shot. All my other cameras just have focus at fist amount of press and then shot, no empty travel at the beginning. Hope I've been clear. Any other experiences on this? Is this "normal" in this camera? I had to get used to it and find it very annoying anyway Many thanks
  18. Please checkout the videos on this link. This is testing the NiSi UV with lens hood and UV from that kit at and below minimum focus. You can see there is no lens errors. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1skQp3TKzLyFbQgaPyvIqK9gYQLSL09s2?usp=share_link
  19. Hi. It seems that the only option the 100II gives when recording BRAW over HDMI to the 12g assist is film emulations. No FLog options available? Is this normal and I am missing something? I thanks in advance fro any insight.
  20. The display button gives you several options for the viewfinder (and independently for the LCD).
  21. I'm shooting in Aperture Priority but seem unable to display shooting info in eyepiece....I don't use the LCD to take photos
  22. Thanks, I don't really get why they would make similar cameras work differently... Even the older X-E3 worked with the double tap to reset
  23. It was the same with the X-T30 - agree the quick press on the joystick is more convenient - one of the things that annoyed me with that camera. Later cameras (such as X-H2S, X100VI) have the press joystick to center option.
