Fuji XF 50-140 F2.8 close focusing

Hi All,

I am seeing a peculiar issue with my Fuji XF 50-140. 
The advertised minimum focusing distance is 1m, and the lens does focus at 1m in the zoom range from 50-134ish.
The moment i turn the zoom ring all the way, the lens no longer focuses at 1m, it goes to 3m.

In my canon 70-200 there is a button to keep the focusing from 1m-infinity or 3m-infinity. 
This looks like a similar thing, but since this is being done automatically.

It is irritating when i try to focus something close by like a small kid, i have to turn the zoom ring back a bit for it to focus.

I am using the lens with XT3, both latest firmware. 
Have anyone noticed this issue?

Just checked XF 50-140mm F2.8 with Fuji X-T30, it can focus to 1m distance on all focal range up to 140mm.

Can you try to switch X-T3 camera into M focusing mode, then zoom to 140mm and measure what is the minimal distance lens can be manually focused ?

I did try in manual mode, there also the minimum focus distance is 3m

Try to set first zoom  and then AF
