I love the old Olympus OM lenses, since they where always build compact, though delivering outstanding optical quality.

Thank you - this portrait tought me a lesson:

Even if you are just testing your lens and manual focusing skills - go the full way and also do your composition right. Your test-pictures may be a "keeper".

 

When I reviewed my testshots at home I saw how much I liked this test-pic and now really regret, that I simply framed his head in the middle (zoom-help focus on the eye) and did not care to zoom out again to check the composition (I cut the hands, should have moved the head more to the upper-right). But I really like the lens' character...
