Better and better. You should experiment with rear curtain flash, if you have the chance and if possible. I don't know if it's a reharsal and one is allowed to use a flash

Thanks!

It's a Live General Performance...

No Flash Allowed...

It\s always a challenge...

  • 2 weeks later...

I imagined it wasn't allowed using a flash. If you knew any of them it would be interesting trying to do some experimentations. Though you should find the right place.

It was a General Live Performance...

Quite the Challenge with them zipping across the stage with very low light...

X-T2 and 16-55mm are great tools to use but I need to do better...  :)

    • No - I don’t think so - it means you can take pictures if you remove the lens completely - but I’m not sure that is a problem
    • I bought a manual lens over xmas and it took me a while to find the "shutter w/o lens" function in the menu settings.  So far I haven't found a way to either put that on the Q menu or marry that setting to one of the 4 custom modes.   Am I missing something? Is there a problem if I just leave that setting enabled even when the OEM auto lens is in place? tia
    • It appears that Apple now (at last!) fully supports FujiFilm Lossless and Compressed RAF files. In the latest updates of MacOS Tahoe 26.2, iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 compressed files are supported in Finder/Files and the Photos app. Good news for those of us with Macs and iPads.
    • I have the x-t5 and the H1 too but only with the X-T5 it happens what you has told. I discovered that if you set the Af-s the problem disappears. Only with the af-c with a half -press on the shutter button reveals tha maximum iso, otherwise with set the af-s it is shown the iso measured by the camera.
    • Found the simple answer to my own question. Having assigned Auto ISO to the rear dial, I only have to push in the dial to make the Auto ISO options appear, then turn the dial to choose. Nice and fast.
