You have certainly captured the atmosphere of a classy European restaurant. I love sparkling wine, so long as it's methode traditionale.

Did you shoot these in JPG or RAW?

It looks like you did a little post production work in the crop.

Good work. I assume you used Lightroom?

Yes currently Lightroom, but also evaluating Capture One. I also have Piccure and ColorChecker Passport.

Yes I agree re Photoshop. Lightroom far more intuitive. Capture One I find is a bit like Photoshop but I am perservering it handles skin tones like no other.

I'd say use photoshop if you've got 3 hours to edit 5 images. Use lightroom if you've got 45 mins to edit 200 images! It's a whole different workflow.

FWIW I use Lightroom for 98% of my editing. For the remaining 2 % I send the image from lightroom to photoshop for tweaking and it goes back to lightroom for inclusion in my export list.

Kate, Lightroom gets a lot of knocking, but I reckon it's quite good and as you say intuitive, so think you won't go far wrong with Lightroom!

Thanks Mike,

I'm going to start off using Lightroom and see how I get on.
