I have an X100 and an EF-X20, and the combination works fine. I've just rented an X-Pro2 though and I cannot get the flash to fire.

The camera certainly sees the flash, so the mode is detected as SHOE MOUNT FLASH and the screen display changes from M to TTL if I change the dial on the flash itself.

I'm using mechanical shutter (I don't think I'd see the flash details anyway on the screen if I didn't).

Have tried in all shooting modes. I don't think there any silent settings to follow like there were on the XT1, etc.

Again the flash unit definitely works. I'm sure I'm doing something stupid but I'd be very grateful for any thoughts.

Thanks and Happy Holidays to you all!
