Landscape mode camera remote app

Am i the only one who misses a landscape mode on the app?

No, I also miss that option.  It would certainly make sense to make use of the screen to its maximum.  Here's hoping for an updated version soon that will provide that.

Just downloaded the app and tried to use my phone as the remote viewer. Has Fuji fixed the app to enable landscape mode?

 

Incredibly poor UX forcing pinch and zoom upon users. Using an S7 Edge and in portrait mode the screen isn't much bigger than my camera's back LCD.

This viewfinder remote has still not been corrected by Fuji. It is very frustrating and that the size of the viewer is so small. With my previous Samsung and Canon camera apps the landscape mode switched automatically.

The app is good but it needs to do allow landscape mode!

Whenever an app does not offer both landscape and portrait mode it just looks like laziness or couldn't care less.  Is this the image that a company like Fuji wants to project?

Really?   Eight years after the original post and there is still no landscape mode in the app?  This is made even more frustrating by the fact that I use the keyboard/case which ONLY holds my tablet horizontally.  And I just paid more for a GFX100S than I have every paid for a camera before.  

Please!  This is not a difficult fix.

it's probably a joke, and I was about to buy fuji gfx 100II, but if there is a problem with the horizontal application and the company can't fix it to this day, then sorry but this brand is not worthy of attention..

Bizarre to make your camera purchase decision on an app that'll probably be rarely used. 

 

I've used the remote app maybe 3 times in 2 years. Would I base my purchasing decisions on that experience? No.
