Hi guy,

I'm new here so hoping I'm postin in the right section .

I had the xt1 and loved in the past but sold it a year back...now looking to get back on the Fuji train (:

I'm a working photographer and I'm looking for a small fine camera for street shooting and light traveling when I don't want to bring along all my FF Canon gear.

Something to bring back the small joys of photography.

The x100t looks like a perfect fit (small, has viewfinder and a fixed lens) but I'm sitting on the fence for couple of months now because it's little bit old in Fuji terms and replacement is due sometime soon.

At least that what i understand from the web .... On the other hand it was supposed to be announced at Photokina and nothing happened .

Does anybody knows or has an Idea when it supposed to come out ?

Worth waiting ?

I would like to hear your thoughts ....

I have my gear for work so i have time, but just want to shoot it already (:

It just can kind of suck to buy it full price and then see 40 % price drop in 2 months ...

Thanks !

This is an excellent idea. Or, get an X-E2/X-E2s while waiting for an X100f.

All excellent ideas. But tbh, if one is set on getting the x100whatever model I'd recommend just waiting for the f. The x100 series has a unique combination of features and size which simply can't be met by those other models.

True, if you want the X100 series, best bet is to wait for the next version.

If we are speculating, I would say first half 2017.

Personally, I think the X100t is not a great value at the end of 2016.  It still sells at a high price but has fairly dated technology.  That being said, value isn't everything and a tool you have works way better than a tool you are planning to buy.

I would either buy a used one or wait a while more.
