It's an e-ink panel, so it stays on when the power is off. You're seeing the settings the camera had when the power was turned off.

She is a beauty!  A tad over my budget -- at least my business 2016 and 2017 budget...  Maybe I'll see one on KEH.com or Fleabay in the future.

I liked it very much.

 

What I tried was an early beta version, market launch will be in Feb/Mar 2017.

 

Heavy, but good handling.

 

Can't say anything about the viewfinder as it was early beta...

 

Interesting, because all the folks who handled it at Photokina commented on how light it is. It's all relative though. Might be light compared to a Hassy H-body or Phase One, but heavy compared to an X-T1/2
