I‘m quite sure, as this is the way other devices use such capacitors. But one would need a service manual to get exact knowledge.

Are you sure? Does the main battery prevent the loss of settings if there is a defective capacitor and the camera is turned off?

The capacitor shouldn‘t ve relevant as long as a charged battery is loaded. I‘m afraid this is a different problem.

With full frame mirrorless cameras and newer DSLRs, one can choose full, med and small raw sizes. If I understand correctly, with 100s version one, Jpeg was the only way (outside of compressed, bit settings, etc) to change any RAW file size. Does the gfx 100sii allow for medium and small RAW sizes? Back when I owned the Canon 5Ds-R, I could go to medium raw and it basically turned into a 5Diii vs the full 50MP. The setting made the camera an option for shooting events etc. As a pro Architectural Photographer (Sony A7R series), I'm thinking of going medium format. I plan on keeping my Sony's for jobs that do not need 100MP, however, having the raw size options would be nice Thanks ahead for your info -
This solution absolutely worked for me. I fiddled with my X-T3's LCD like in the video and poof! It opened.
