Exposure help please!

Recommended Posts

Wondering if anyone can help with an exposure question!
I have a Fuji xpro2 which I love using, but when I shoot in MS, the images are bright and I think overexposing, both on screen preview and the resulting photo. When I shoot in ES, the phot is closer to the light reading and preview and more true to what I am seeing with eye and on screen. Is there any advice here, as surely the MS is faulting? I even tried the MS + ES, but the results are still brighter than with ES and a tad brighter than in real life. Exposure is set to 0. So the question here is if there any disadvantages in quality when shooting in ES alone on the XPRO2.

I believe I’ve done all the firmware updates and for my lens too (16mm, 50mm f2, 35mm 1.2, 23mm)

Really grateful for as much advice as I have a few important shoots soon! Thanks.
