B&H extended warranty was worth it

I bought a new Fujifilm X100F from B&H in late August 2019 and also got the five year warranty for $129.

Fast forward to late spring of this year and the camera started to have issues. The AF-M/S/C switch not longer switched between modes. And everytime I took the battery out it lost all settings.

I contacted the warranty carrier, Allstate and they had me send the camera into them at their expense.

About ten days later got the camera back from Photo Tech Repair who is a authorized Fuji repair center in New Jersey. I did not have to pay for return shipping BTW.

All the issues have been repaired including a sensor cleaning. Weirdly the receipt does not say what was fixed but I bet that one of the boards was replaced.

I have no idea how much this repair would have cost but I bet that it would have been a lot more than $129.

I am very happy with the service I received and am very glad that I bought the extended warranty.
