  1. I bought a new Fujifilm X100F from B&H in late August 2019 and also got the five year warranty for $129. Fast forward to late spring of this year and the camera started to have issues. The AF-M/S/C switch not longer switched between modes. And everytime I took the battery out it lost all settings. I contacted the warranty carrier, Allstate and they had me send the camera into them at their expense. About ten days later got the camera back from Photo Tech Repair who is a authorized Fuji repair center in New Jersey. I did not have to pay for return shipping BTW. All the issues have been repaired including a sensor cleaning. Weirdly the receipt does not say what was fixed but I bet that one of the boards was replaced. I have no idea how much this repair would have cost but I bet that it would have been a lot more than $129. I am very happy with the service I received and am very glad that I bought the extended warranty. Zack S

    The price of fame

Marilyn quietly sits for her photo session. The MoMA, NYC, 2014.
  4. Shot using a B+W 10 stop ND filter and the 3 stop internal ND filter turned on, 77 second exposure. Did a lot of dodging and burning on this. Putting the horizon exactly in the center was a deliberate composition choice. I call this my poor mans Rothko. This all started for me when I saw the cover of the U2 album "No Line On The Horizon" in 2009 and looked up the photographer, Hiroshi Sugimoto. For years his work was in the back of my head. Finally this year I decided to do some long exposure work of my own. This is from my 3rd day ever of shooting LE. For some reason shooting 1x1 really appeals to me and I find myself shooting in that format a lot. C&C if you like. Comments are appreciated.

    Provincetown MA.

Old Colony Tap, Cape Cod, Provincetown MA. September 2022, X100F. I think that this is my best shot of 2022. There is a lot of character in these faces.
