  1. Another thing, they sent me to the loaner dept to get a loaner but noone answered. So I called back and was told that the loaner person was in a meeting and had actually asked for my contact info, which I thought was really good. But after not hearing back from him, I called again and was told that he had gone home and that possibly Monday he would call me. WHAT??? So they transferred me over to management, which went to voice mail of course. So... here I wait; frustrated.
  2. x-s10 but in warranty repair at the moment. ☹️
  3. Not sure if this is the place to post this or not. I sent my camera off for repair because the body wouldn't talk to the lens. They fixed that but when it came back there was a big speck of dust between the glass and the sensor. So i sent it back to be cleaned. They cleaned that speck and left a different speck right in the middle of the sensor but below the glass. I will add that both of these specs were sufficiently big that i could see them with the naked eye when I took off the lens. So it is sent off again. I'm right at 3 months now without the use of my camera. It's quite disappointing and frustrating. My question is, is this normal? Or is my situation unique?
  4. I've tried 3 different cables with the same issue. Sounds like I'm the only one that has experienced this.
  5. The Milky Way as viewed looking south in Peru.
  6. Did you try redownloading the firmware file? Maybe it was corrupted at some point in the download.
  7. Ok, so I changed the fps to 24 on the camera and also in obs. That works fine. When I go back to 30 fps on the camera and OBS, it has the interlaced issue after several minutes of recording. Not sure what that is about.
  8. I have the x-s10 hooked up to the avermedia live streamer cap 4k capture card. I am live streaming to Facebook through OBS. Somewhere abou 20-25 minutes into the recording it changes to interlaced video. Shutting off and restarting the camera always puts it back to progressive but that can't be done very conveniently mid-stream. In camera movie settings are: FHD 16:9, 29.97p, clean HDMI out. Any ideas what is happening? I might add that this never happened with my Sony A77ii, only with the Fuji. Attached are a couple of cropped in screen shots of the video in the beginning and then after it changed.
