Quick question … I recently purchased a new X100T.

The EVF mode doesn’t seem to be working correctly for me. It is very, very dim, and only once in a while (for a second) will lighten up. This occurs even when I’m pointing the lens at direct light sources and a well-lit objects. (I check the ND filter, and that’s not a problem. I also checked the EVF brightness level, and that’s not a problem.) In contrast, the OVF is very bright at all times.

The problem may be related to the exposure compensation. On top, the dial is set to 0, but (on the screen in OVF or EVF mode) it seems to read -3. I tried to reset the camera, but that didn't fix the problem. Also strangely, the exposure compensation shows up in the EVF and OVF when we I set it NOT to show in the DISP. CUSTOM SETTING.

At worst, I’ll send it back for a replacement.

Thanks for any help!
