Do New Fujis (X-E2s) Come Sealed Or Open?

Wonder if you could PLEASE help me.

I have just ordered a new Fuji X-E2S from Cameta.

My first Fuji after Canons, Sonys and Panasonics. I am excited.

Watched this video, on YouTube, by the "Fuji Guys", in UNBOXING the Fuji.

Yes, I know they are in CANADA but they made a BIG DEAL about checking the SEAL on the camera. See attached frame-grab from video. Having bought quite a few cameras from BugDig and Cameta I had a 'strange' feeling about this.

So I just called up Cameta. They tell me that my X-E2S will arrive with NO SEAL -- and that this is the case with any Fuji bought in the U.S.

So what is the story here PLEASE. Why would they use a seal in Canada and not the U.S.?

Any help will be gladly appreciated. Thank you.

I bought mine from another authorized dealer in NJ and it arrived with the silver seal. Shouldn't be a big deal if the camera looks and indeed is new/unused. X-E2s is a recent model. Mine from Amazon, with the silver seal. I agree with you completely about not wanting to receive a used item at a new price.
