I'm considering purchasing an X100v. I wonder how often X100 camera users make use of the optical viewfinder. I've had the X-E1, X-E2 and now X-E3 and have become used to the EVF. So I wonder how useful an optical viewfinder is?

Agreed X-Pro uniqueness is for the viewfinder. One case where a viewfinder is absent is the Hasselblad 907X, step out in bright light or sunlight and trying to use the LCD is a pain. The accessory viewfinder is a pain also. A viewfinder is a necessity which I for one cannot do without.
