Hi Everyone,

Just recently bought the Fuji xt1 with 35mm F2 lens. So far I am finding it a really fun camera to use compared to my canon 550d with 17-55mm F2.8! Canon was great but I felt it was missing something.

Anyway, what I would like to know if anyone has used the EFS 17-55mm F2.8 on the Fuji XT1?

Or am I better off selling everything and get the Fuji equivalent lens?

I am not very good with Canon gear but correct me if I am wrong. That lens doesn't have an aperture ring, right ?

If so, you will not be able to change the setting on just the X-T1 and chances are you are going to use the auto focus. If there is any adapter that allows both features to work on a Fuji system, I do not know.

Maybe someone else on the forum would be able to help ?

I used to have a Canon 17-55 with my 70D and although it's the best zoom lens for crop sensors, I remember it being pretty hefty. Adding an adapter would make it that much bigger with no upside since you couldn't even change the aperture. I'd sell it since it has good resale value and buy a Fuji 16-55 when it goes on sale.
