Hello!! I’m new to this group and joined in to ask for advice. I found an old Fujifilm camera in our home and when I got it to turn on, the LCD is just blank white and even when I switched it to EVF it only showed a white screen. It’s the Fujifilm FinePix 2800 Zoom. Any advice for this? It turns out that this was a wedding gift from my aunt to my parents when they got married years ago. The camera can still play the videos saved in the SD card that was already inserted here though I could only hear the audio and not see the actual pictures or videos. Any advice would help, preferably one that could salvage this camera. Thank you all!

I do not see a brightness button on the back in your image, but if it has a button whose emblem is a circle with a lot of lines popping out from it, Fujifilm usually uses that as a lcd brightness controller. Do you have the manual for the camera? If you have an external card reader, the video and images on the SD card can be copied over to your computer.
