Lens Damaged?

I tried to use my 60mm 2.4 and noticed that the aperture ring doesn't track properly and after F8 it goes to A. 

Has anyone seen this before? Damaged? Or some setting that I have overlooked?

 

Body - X-E2 - v3.00 firmware

Lens - v3.1 firmware

 

Thoughts and suggestions welcome!

Can't say I've observed that on any of my lenses but I don't have the 60mm. Can't imagine why it would do that though.

It looks like this is a known issue with that lens. The circuit ribbon's adhesive allows it move which prevents the contacts from riding along their path correctly. Looks like it'll need to go back to Fuji for repair.

 

Anyone know how long the warranty is for the lenses?

The aperture ring of my copy of this lens works fine performing 1/3 stop intervals throughout the range.

 

Warranties vary throughout the world.

 

In the EU, with the possible exception of the UK alone ( but really it shouldn’t) there is a mandatory minimum of 24months ( in the Netherlands, theoretically guarantees are for as long as it is reasonable to expect that a product will perform its useful function) but in many cases around the world the warrantee is only limited to 12 months for body and lenses.
