Hi folks,

Just recently bought the X-T10 and so far, I'm loving it. I've been shooting Nikon's for years but wanted something smaller to use mainly with the family. I have been really impressed with the raw files and the sharpness of the 18-55mm "kit" lens. Trying to decide what lens to get next. Here is one taken at the farmers' market I manage.

Welcome on the forum.

I agree, the 18-55 will cover most bases for the time being, time will tell you want to buy.

Maybe you are a wideangle person, maybe you are a portrait person or maybe both. Just don’t go buying things before you really need them. On the other hand having previous experience to capitalize upon, you probably already know what you want.

There is plenty to read here and to ponder upon.

I also have the same combination. My second lens is being mailed to me, purchased used on B&H Photo, a 50-230 zoom with new Hoya HMC filter for $200. I own a lot of heavy photo equipment so my goal was to go simple and light. The camera that got me into Fujifilm is the X100S. I was astounded by the jpeg colors and sharp lens, reminiscent of the film era. I swore the X100S would be my last camera purchase, then the X-T10 came out including the 18-55 lens for $100 more than the body alone so I hope the range of 16-230 (with two lens combo) will last me long into the future and make packing and traveling much easier.

Congrats on the new purchase. I recently converted back to Fuji after years using Nikon. I was leaning towards the X-T10 but jumped at Amazon't black Friday deal on the X-T1 18-135mm combo. I'm still learning the system but here is one I took the other day while messing around.

I just got an X-T10 with 18-55 a couple weeks back. Sold off some Canon gear to get it. It's definitely putting the fun back in photography for me, and that 18-55 is one of the nicest "kit" lenses I've ever used.

BTW, I dig your Farmer's Market shot.
